Qurbani is one of the most powerful acts of giving in Islam — the ritual sacrifice performed during Eid al-Adha, the feast of sacrifice. For many families in Ghana and across West Africa, the hope of receiving fresh meat during Eid is just that: a hope. Lighthouse Humanitarian Aid Ghana makes that hope a reality.
Since 2022, our Qurbani program has ensured that the blessings of Eid reach the most vulnerable households in our communities — including orphans, widows, the elderly, and families living in extreme poverty. We carry out the sacrifice on behalf of donors worldwide, following Islamic guidelines with full integrity and transparency.
Every Qurbani donation goes directly toward procuring, slaughtering, and distributing meat to verified beneficiaries in underserved communities. Our field teams work weeks in advance to identify and register households, ensuring that no eligible family is overlooked on this sacred occasion.
Your Qurbani donation is more than food. It is dignity, celebration, and the lived experience of belonging — even for those the world too often forgets.
